They let Floyd Clymer have it...is it lost? Bring back the Enfield Twin!

This website might interest you Ixion, about Enfields, and Clymer, and Velos, and Rickmans.I was a friend of the guy who wrote the page back in the late '70's,and stayed with him in Aust.He was into Italian bikes back then, dunno why he's now into these things.

One of the earliest bikes I ever owned was a (about 1952) Royal Enfield 350cc G11.

Rigid rear, telescopic front suspension, modest power even for that time but a very reliable/enjoyable bike, great on gravel roads. (many roads were gravel back then)

I have always had a soft spot for Royal Enfield bikes, British or Indian.

I joined the Enfield fan club about 6 months ago, they are fun and they just love gravel and dirt. Mine is a 350 Bullet about 10 years old, a bit of a step down from my K6 1200 Bandit but I guess I will not be getting any more speeding tickets.
Paul Carberry in Melbourne has developed an 1100 Twin Bullet which sells for about $22,000 AUD www.carberryenfield.com.au check it out.
