    Hi MBZ2,

I was pretty sure I was in my cage over the weekend on Lincoln Rd next to you, and also mabe up the Gt Nth Rd to the SH16? Nice - Niiiice - bike if it was (or wasn't)

But then I checked your profile pic and maybe it wasn't.

    Goodbye M109, Hello GSXR

Was in the Reception area on Friday of one of the car dealerships with whom I have dealings through work when the Service Manager called me over to his office.

He had sounded just a little excited so as I walked in to his office I said,
    "You've bought a new bike."
Indeed he had. He has said goodbye to his M109 (couldn't get used to the riding position) and bought a new GSXR 750. He feels that this choice is closer to his "motorcycling roots"...

    Sounds like a sensible move.

I actually went the other way from a GSXR1000 to the M109R. For me I found the GSXR to be a fantastic bike, but too hard on my back (many injuries over the years) even after only a relatively short ride. The M109R certainly requires a good fit for leg and arm length to 'fit' it comfortably.

Who works/lives on the North Shore and rides an M109 home from somewhere out Albany way and turns off at Glenfield? I was following you on the VFR one night, and was impressed by the bike.
Nice bike, Dude! I think I'd have one if I bought a cruiser.

When I was in Oz recently, I had some dick on a Harley full-dresser come up behind me with all 3 lights on high. I was in a bog-standard Subaru Forester auto, yet every time we came to some corners, I'd lose him. Eventually we came to a very long straight, and he motored past, salvaging what small vestige of manhood he had left.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Meh, we've got Subaru Forester drivers down here that behave like that too ya know......too scared to see how they corner but hoo-boy, give 'em a long straight and look-out, the skis just about rear the roof-rack off.

Ferked if I know if they have any manhood though..

Yeah, was you. Even the wife was impressed with your bike. Looked like you'd just ridden it out the showroom!

I hinted that a nice newer bike like that might good for the pair of us.

    Didn't work mind.
