Do the cops have to give you a ticket on the spot?

Just bin snapped at 134K's cop took all me details said that I would get the ticket in the mail as it was to hot for him to write the ticket out and didn't want me to cook in the sun. How legal is that, I thought they have to write you a ticket and give it to you for an instant fine. Any one got any clues.

Succomb to the fact I got caught so I'll just pay the fine and fit me detector back on.

134kmh should be well up shit creek. Over the posted limit by 30kmh is loss of license territory.

No it is not. 40 kph over a permanent speed limit, or 50kph over a temporary speed limit will attract an automatic 28 day licence suspension. More than 50kph over a permanent limit will usually result in a speed dangerous charge , which will usually mean a disqualification.

Over the posted limit by 30kph is only fine and demerits.

That would have been useful to inject into the conversation I had with a pleasant lady HP officer last week.

    Thought it was over 40Km/h?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
