Argh! Doncha' hate it when someone moves your gear?

Well this is a right howdy doo...

My olds have gone to China for a couple of weeks. All good and well, I dropped them off to the airport last night and didn't think much about it.

Until I went to use my little ol'hornet this morning.

Had to hunt for my boots (funny, they weren't hiding under a big tarp outside in a box) and by now, running a little late to get to school briefing.

Where the hell are my frikk'n gloves!?

Hunted around and couldn't find them blardy anywheres!

:slap: Arg. My dear caring parental unit obviously found a way to stop me riding for a little while... by hiding my gloves somewhere!

Sorry for the rant. Just had to get it off my chest since I am missing out on riding time

May have to go and buy some new gloves...

    Look in your boots.

If that doesn't work, I can loan you a pair.

lol, as soon as I found them, I whipped them on ... and no gloves in them! May have to take you up on the loaner offer (XL?)

I'll have another good hunt around when I get back home today.... but riding without gloves is a no-no for me, after seeing what happened to my other pair when I binned in Raglan

I also, have a spare pair...

Anyone else spot the irony of the number one toy gatherer NOT having spare gloves?

Jeez, it is so tough being looked after and having people help tidy up for you.
One place to look for your gloves might be in that house they provide for you. They might be under piles of stuff they have bought for you. (Did they buy the gloves or bike - won't even go there!)

Yes, yes I'm sure you bought your own bike etc.

You must get these urges when your waist passes a certain circumference?
Or maybe when the hair recedes to cover less than 1/2 of the original surface area?
Maybe it could be if you subtract the age of the poster from your age and the result is greater than the age of the poster something hormonal kicks in?

    Parents sure suck! Lol

I reckon he's got that one well figured out - just round the corner from National Super and still living at home

I'd offer you your brother's old ones back, but I told you what happened to them! I don't think it's mice , I think that they've gone hard and cracked where the leather is really thin and worn. Teach me for leaving them in the cold, cold, windy garage all winter .

I too find it hard to believe that you of all people don't have eight more pairs of gloves in eight different colours and textures!

    Found them.

Good ol'mum left them propped up on the couch... and they promptly fell down the back.

Did a big hunt around, and stopped, sat on the couch and had a little think...

"If I was a well meaning mum where would I leave the gloves?" sort of thing.

Light clicked on. And I looked over the back of the couch I was sitting at ...

    And bingo.

Gloves had fallen down the back!

The thing is, I had them outside airing - dear ol'mum just thought "they wouldn't be safe" there I gather and brought them in. Without telling me

Alls well and good. And oh yeah, mum did warn me about not inviting any girls home where they were away ... I had to invite girls home

Ah, being asian has its funny idiosyncracies!

    Right. Time for a ride.

Actually, I tidy the house and help out in the family business .. being asian and all, and unmarried When I was moving back to South Auckland from living over the shore, my ma said "move back in with us son, your old room is still there.."

In this topsy-turvy world of asian affairs, the scary thing is this was "endearing" to unattached asian ladies who were looking for an eligible bachelor
