Respect? Since when has KB shown respect to dead motorcyclists and their families? Or even injured ones?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
The Section of road that the Accident happened on was already in the 80 kmph speed restricted area, the Car lost control at high speed and slid sideways into the path of the M/cycle....that is all I can determine from the painted marks on the road so far...I know people in the Waihi Fire brigade and Ambulance and this was a particularly nasty accident.
The driver was arrested and charged at the scene. restricted licence, and a range of other infringements.
The Motorcyclist was from the maramarua area and was in his 30`s ....RIP .
FFS when are people going to take a little more responsability when they drive thier bloody cars I am sickened with the amount of deaths lately on NZ roads involving an out of control cage. I am sorry if this is disrespectful for the fallen riders, its not meant that way but i am very worried for my Wife and children, especialy now my wife has started to come on the back of my bike. I realy dont want to leave my children orphans
It could be that the Motorcyclist was going quite quick also....the impact on the vehicle was huge.....that aside, if the car hadn't of been in his way things would have been fine and dandy.
RIP rider. Wishes to their family and loved ones.![]()
Man thats sad, was driving back from the Coromandel yesterday enjoying the bikes on the roads, wound my window down to hear a couple of twins that were following me at a respectful distance on the Tairua Hill to Whangamata dont expect to hear that sound again up close, I hope it wasnt any of the bikes that passed us as we ambled our way home.
RIP.Ride On...
ter·ra in·cog·ni·taAchievement is not always success while reputed failure often is. It is honest endeavor, persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.

Condolences to the families.
Names have been released to the media, also of note, they are blaming the suzuki for being on the wrong side, not the car...
