    Bugger, no riding this TL.

    A bloke in Aussie just sent me these pics that he posted on another forum,what a mess eh,came through so hard its moved the starter motor.

    There's an old joke about why the Holden stopped during the Bathurst race. Seems it had an electrical problem - after a conrod came out of the block and knocked the alternator off.

    Only reason Rods Fly, is excessive wear/clearance, and high RPM. Trust me. I know from methanol fire breathers.

    Nope. Lubrication failure can do it (big end seizes first - or little end sometimes). I've known them break if a valve hits a piston , too.
