I think it was a test in KiwiRider a year or two back that said big scooters might provide solutions for people with open minds.

One day I might need to consider them. Harry Duynhoven is currently doing his incompetent best to bring that day forward.

My husband found a very interesting review on the net yesterday comparing the 650 Burger and the Honda Silverwing. The website is OneWheelDrive.net and the article is called "Scoot-Touring the Honda Silverwing and Suzuki Burgman". Really interesting read, very entertaining, complete with piccies; follows their excursion through Canada. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

    No indeed.

Fuji Heavy Industries, who to date have confined their two wheeler production to motor scooters, have indicated an interest in production of a 500cc sprotsbike.

Since they named their scooters the 'Rabbit' (well known to older NZ riders) , they naturally will call their faster larger machine the 'Hare' (or, allowing for Japanese accents, the 'Harely' ).

Not to be confused with the Harley-Davidson competitor to the Rabbit, the Harley 'Topper' motor scooter.

    1. Harely 500
    2. Rabbit scooter
    3. Harley scooter

(I believe Mr Scumdog is interested in fishing and Harley's so I imagine his next machine may well be a 'Topper' )

Yes indeed a good read especially as the Burger came out on top (I think)

I'm disappointed. It's not an AWD (BWD?) turbo boxer.

Thanks for that! I looked it up and it only confirmed what I've always believed about the Burgman! Nice read!

    A Honda RS?
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Well, maybe close... Personally, I love the little RS250's and would have one in an instant! Just a bit short of the necessary disposable folding stuff to be able to indulge in my dream gargre yet!
