Good on you for taking the plunge and going to the races. you must be feeling sufficiently satisfied with yourself and Bumble.
It must have felt great being out on the open roads with both a pleasant journey and a fab destination.

I wanted to go to Paeroa today but was not sure of the weather or the roads so didn't take the plunge.
With a lot more more experince and ability under under my belt I want to go next year.

Great to hear you made it back all good Kanny, just got back myself a while ago.
Yep, a great ride up with you and a totally awesome day at the races.

Since the title is self referential it should, if anything be "myself"

"(I am) so proud of Bumble and myself."

Unless the context is something like

"(I am) so proud of Bumble and I (having achieved what I said we would) "

Well done Kanny, good to see you're getting out without waiting for your errant other half.

You'll be leading the ride at Kawhia then?
