Plus there'll be all sorts of underpowered bikes going slow, i'm sure it wont be a problem

    You'll be fine.
You have more than a month to sort out the skills you need.
So stop surfing and go put some km's on your bike.

Ofcourse it will be good for you
Besides, most will be traveling at 80kph, a very very easy ride

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I took the carb out, gave it a good clean, doesn't seem to help, still can't get it to idle, it only starts with full gas, as soon as you let go of the throttle it dies. Tried adjusting the cables. didn't help.

Anyone have any ideas, or want to lend a hand?

    Sounds perfectectly insuitable to me..

You're gonna want one of the 110cc jobs (which you'll need a motorcycle license for).

    Clicky clicky

If you've never ridden before.. you're gonna wanna pick it up quick. It's by far no easy ride to get to the cape and back. S'pecially on a mini chopper.. good luck mate.
