    Seat straps. What are they for?

    Yo. Well i was wondering. What is the strap across the kats seat for? Any thoughts?

    For pillions to hold onto.

    They also make a useful mounting point for carrying things.

    Well, in my experience, they're for idiot bloody WoF testers to haul on when they lug the bike onto its centre stand.

    Perfect to hold one's compact in place, methinks. The cute little Lancome ones you get on planes - couple of lipglosses, a powder, a mascara, and some eyeshadow.......
