Great to see so much enthusiasm, but an angry nurse is a thing to avoid...
Yeah for sure, however I was told that I could go up last night so that's why I did. Will be waiting a while for the next visit though!

Its all good, you guys were there cause you care.

Its just hard to remember when you see him talking and laughing that just over a week ago he was in a coma. He somehow has to get it into his head that he needs to rest and stay still.

Sometimes that's the most difficult thing to handle. My worst memories of hospital are the overwhelming feeling of restlessness, almost claustrophobia, harder to manage than the pain. Sounds like he’s through the worst of it though, and making good progress. Give him my regards eh? And tell him not to mess with the staff too much, they’re a seriously scary bunch if you piss them off.

Yes, we warned him that all medication might have be taken rectally if he pisses them off.

That's good news!! You could wheel him down to Motomart to peer in the windows and get him some real food from Burgerfuel! (No doing a runner now Sean!)

Sun is not important, fresh air imperative for well being. What great news! Like I said, slow steps make steady progress.

I'd vote for that! Mmm, Burgerfuel... *grumble* don't have it down here in Christchurch...

Great news that he's going to be allowed out of bed and out of the room! It's quite soon though and he's still confused... what's all the rush Skel*?
