Fuck it (sorry Mum), I think I'll just buy the helmet and wear it while I watch Oprah... and knit. Nobody wants to own a helmet with a negative connotation.

Great to hear how far you have come on the recovery road already. You are made of tough stuff, for sure. I hope that the next 8 months, until you are on wheels again, pass quickly for you.

One of the biggest issues with head injuries is frustration at yourself. It'll happen so just deal with it, and before you know if you'll be popping phat monos like no ones business.

Suckage Man. I shall personally ride my Ape twice as much to ensure that the natural balance of rolling Apeness is not destabilised in the intervening temporal period.
But you will love it all the more when you get back on.

Sorry to hear about your waiting time. The only good thing is you'll be getting back on two wheels at the right time of the year.

You'll just have to start a decent DVD collection. You know all the MotoGP, WSB, IOM, and Irish Road Race round ups. Sorry you can't borrow mine!

Yeah it would. If he had decided that I was 'good to go' I would have asked him some very pointed questions. Seizing on a bike is 10x worse/more dangerous for me than at the wheel of a car.

8 months isn't long. I've put up with worse things than that for twice as long.

That sucks but for the best at this stage!! Glad to hear the bike is ready for action again anyways!!!

YOu should just get the helmet and wear it perminently! Especially when you are being a passanger in a car, makes your driver get weird looks.....

Good that you've made so much progress - bad that you've still got a bit of a wait. Still, winter is cold, weather is pants; you won't miss much and you'll still have some good weather by the time you get the all clear.

Take it easy and keep healing everyday~

Hang in there dude. I get that it's frustrating but best that when you do get back on you are 100%.
