The present forum lumps NZ and Oz in with all the rest of Asia. it's Asia, Australia, and NZ.

The original proposal wa to split off the Asian bit. So, have Asia on its own and (NZ + Oz) .

I'm easy about NZ + OZ (the poor buggers can't help being like they are , it's the lack of water, causes madness). But I don't see any sense in us (NZ , or Oz) being lumped in with Asia.

There is enough common ground and interaction for us both to benefit.

Both 4skins and myself have seen a lot of positive benefits (including some good rides a couple of new mates) from the combined forum. After all, our nearest "foreign" riding patch is Aussie.

I've asked that we get some "sticky" threads specific to us (like Ride Reports & Flea Markets) to make it more relevant to us. It is worth notong that all those voting for a forum split have very low post counts - perhaps you guys should try and make it work and get to know it before changing it.

I don't just agree with all this, but will add to it.

The Aussies' perspectives - and versions of wit - are refreshing, just like riding in back country Australia.

KB provides an at-home NZ forum for adv riders already: I'll be voting to stay in with Oz on ADVRider. The Asian input is pretty small much of the time, and is often from Oz/NZ riders anyway.

Get passed in the twistys by some bugger on chook chaser did we? :

Splitting off the Asia forum over on Adv is a good idea, otherwise I don't mind the status quo. Here is good for local stuff & organising rides. When posting up a ride report I'd rather have it on Advrider for more to see.

    Cheers
    Clint

A flat? Anything in the tyre? I didn't notice anything when I last rode it.

How you managed to keep the SE is....criminal.
