It's a sign. You were really meant to spend that money on a GSXR. You know you want to. Babybikie can still have a custom made co-pilot seat on top of the Gixxer tail unit.

I tell you what you want..... A K5 GSX-R1000..... FUCKING SEXY BIKE (the pipe looks mint in real life)!!!!!! AND TINY!!!!!! It is probably the smallest bike ive ever seen... The one i saw was next to a K5 GSX-R750 and it made the 750 look like it was the size of a GSX1400....

That or if you want a REAL Sports Tourer, get a CBR1100XX you can get a brand new one for $18000.... Supposed to be one of the best pillioning bikes too.....
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz

Sounds like a munted-up FXR that doesn't go is *just* what you need, Frosty.

You guys just dont get it. --I've wanted one of those 1300's since a lot of you guys were still in nappies.
I always loved my XJ900 but it just diddn't have enough grunt.
I waited for the "NEW GENERATION" xj900 -the Diversion 900 --I rode it and was bitterly dissapointed -No more grunt than my old xj900 and to be honest not as good round corners either.
When I heard the 1300 was being released I was bouncing off the walls--I musta called Yamaha NZ a hundred times.
I think I was the first private person to ride one - It for me is such a totally perfect motorcycle with fantastic brakes power and handling. It is the first bike ever I have just hopped on and in the first corner scraped the hero knobs--it inspires that kind of confidence--lets just say I fell in love.
Deposit was in the bank But the ex dropped the bombshell and all ideas went out the window for awile.
When I heard this particular one was coming up I was champing at the bit to own it.

Yeah yeah, we get it, we get it. Our hearts *are* bleeding for you, believe me. You've gone on about FJR1300s, ad nauseAm, ever since I remember you joining the forum.

How exactly did you manage to miss out on it, then? Your cryptic remarks about eleven o'clock don't shed an awful lot of light.

Unless the story is that you only gave yourself a few minutes leeway to get to its auction, and duly missed it when it came up ten minutes early? D'oh! You shoulda called on someone with some spare time to turn up early and bid for you!

well yea OK rub it in jrandom
The bike auctions used to be at 1.00pm every second wendsday but turners had a reshuffle.
I called on tueesday and yep--bikes are at 11.00am - I called again today --yep bikes are up at 1100 hrs -I turned up at 10.50 and the bloody bike had JUST sold.
I think Kerry G could see just how upset I was
