it was late at night, I could have been done way worse believe me, its just the exceeding posted 100km limit on the ticket, nothing else..
Perhaps theres hope... A fine is a definate, theres no dangerous charge or any of that, but there is previous offences.
I didnt know I was being followed otherwise I would have kept going, I backed off to the speed limit, when a commy came up my arse and put its lights on probably after noting my plate, I pulled over immediately
Confident the aprilia rsv4, IS the one

90km over the posted limit --- could be a dangerous driving charge coming your way.

If you like sharing a cell with 6' + guys who like rough sex you'll be OK.

If on the other hand you don't - Id start lubing and practising thinking of England.

Just looked it up for you:

Imprisonment for up to 3 months, or a fine not exceeding $4,500, or both, and disqualification for at least 6 months

On the bright side its not the first time that this has happened to you - so they will probably take it easier on ya. You get a repeat offenders discount or something.

You seem to be have been involved in idiotic behaviour that 99.9% of the normal people who ride bikes go through. When I was your age I would have my suzukiyamahawhatsit up to the same speed, but that would have been a dream on a supersix speed or what ever they called it.. Your normal just accept it and let the system deal with. Men take it on the chin and move on . You deserve a bling for admission.

Hahaha...BS. I saw a Killer Beez kid get dragged into central and he was being right arse hole. The cops were definitely not easy on him.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

...isn't there a cop shop right next to the bridge on that side??? If so, then the words "for", "it" and "asking" - but not necessarily in that order - spring to mind.

ROTFLMAO---this has to be a joke surely

Surely NOONE would be stupid enough to actually do 170km/h in possibly THE most heavily camera infested stretch of road in NZ.
And no way would they do it NORTH bound -right in front of the Motorway patrol base.
    VERY GOOD pisstake thread

Well you obviously got the attenton you were seeking....

Pity it wasnt on a real bike to actually do a proper runner. It's people like you who really do fuck the biker image up with cops.

I hope you get what you deserve. Maybe you should have grown balls and sold your bike before that all happend - Im glad I did!

Actually, so long as there's nothing much in way of other traffic (still possible at night), the bridge is a pretty fast and safe bit of road . Proibably good for at least 200kph . Central median, straight(ish) , good surface good visibility , absolutely NO risk of the usual hand wringing diversions - no golden haired children running out in front, no side roads, no animals (except maybe seagulls).

Of course, 170kph lanesplitting in the rush hour is another matter.

Anyway, looks like the cop sort of agreed, if you've only got a ticket for exceeding 100kph. Phew. No speed dangerous. Just a honking big fine, and a big bunch of demerits. You naughty lad you.

EDIT: Apart from getting airbourne at the top. Y' gotta watch that!
