I don't think the police would think of purchasing these with the sole purpose of chasing bikers doing runners. That's what their radio's and Eagle do.

The current cop bikes are not slow by anyones standards.......have talked to one cop who has taken it to the red line in top gear - he states that top speed was quite respectable.
Likewise the cops in the UK with the old PAN's are able to catch quite a few things in the right hands.

I heard in the State's highways, they have Hayabusa cop bikes
Mack told me I think...
Edit: Here you go, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Cop Bike
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
Now that'd be tough to get away from On the Yank highways, long straight lines with nowhere to goIt's be bloody tough to pick it out amongst traffic as well , looks pretty damn stock/subtle.
we aint even got a bike cop here in nelson
we get a bike from welly coming down over christmas and thats about it
Split lanes and they can't catch you. I know...
Ride, eat, sleep, repeat!
I used to get pulled over on my Busa by bike cops in Lost Angeles and all they would want to do is ask me how fast it would go and shit like that. Never got a ticket from them, but the cage cops, well, they were different. Guns drawn, screaming; not nice.
In LA, if you try to ditch a cop, they just follow you and let you crash. Then they call the ambulance, or the coroner.
Ride, eat, sleep, repeat!
