On a side note when I got my 6R they deleted my 1F licence and after that I had to wait till I get my car licence again for a week. They are not the most observent there in the AA, but i guess if you call them and insist on compensation they may give you a tank licence for free, or at least a truck and trailer. try it.
No such thing as a tank licence. It's a T endorsement, to a licence valid for the gross laden weight of the tank (including ammunition) . (A class 2 or 4 depending on how much your tank weighs. ).

No, I am not pulling your leg. This is perfectly true. Armoured cars would be a W endorsement (probably to a Class 1F, but I don't know how much armoured cars weigh. Might have to be a Class 2 )

Ixion's quite right, you know. He knows, he had to get one of those for his GT750 Waterbus.

Digging up an old thread... I've just received my 1F+6F license in the mail, and presto, the old "only vehicle with automatic transmission to be used" condition is printed on the back. It really isn't that difficult to get this right, is it?

Had the same thing happen when i went for my 5F they deleted all my other licenses 1,2,3,4,6,Dangerous good and Forklift.

I went back in and asked them if they had a truck and trailer i could borrow to get home, They quickly fixed the mistake after half the counter staff cracked up laughing. (we got on well there) the TGA CBD AA staff like muffins.

I am pretty sure that when you get a full licence that condition about automatic vehicles is supposed to be deleted from yous licence. I am however no legal expert. Someone like Ixion or Qkchk should be able to help you out with advice.

So sitting your 1r in a auto makes you unsafe to drive a manual but 1f in a auto makes you safe to drive a manual ??

What it means is that you need a new bike after all it IS a condition of your license that you only operate vehicles with an automatic transmission.

You have a choice of scooters from many brands: Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Gilera, Vespa, etc.
    Or
    Honda DN-01
    Or
How about an 850cc naked bike - buy an Aprilia Mana

I also found http://www.ridleymotorcycles.com/ when I googled 'automatic motorcycles'.

You better hurry up and go buy a new bike, you don't want to be a law breaker do you?
