Yes but then those buildings can call towies on ya.
Sanx and myself used to park outside HSBC HQ in town, one day they started clamping all the bikes. Was funny as it was a different towing company who had only put their sign up that day.
We picked sanx's bike up and lifted it, clamp and all, onto westfield property
My bike was parked a few meters away, on westfield property and wasnt touched. A few weeks later westfield management complained to me saying it is a hazard to children climbing on it (it was in a out of the way corner) HAZARD WTF, im the hazard to people climbing on my bike... used to see people leaning on whilst having a smoke... they got the hard word![]()
Dear Murray
Thank you for your e-mail.
According to Wilson Parking policy you have to rent a car bay then you can parking your Motorcycles on it.

WTF does that mean ? Rent a car bay ?
EDIT: Being as such stupidmess irritates me, I went and looked up their terms and Conditions on their website
Nothing at all specific about motorcycles. They refer strictly to "vehicles" . A motorcycle is a vehicle.
"# You must purchase a ticket from the pay and display machine and display the ticket on your dashboard with the date and expiry time clearly visible." (Pay and display car park ) Or "You must pay on entry or pay upon leaving the carpark in your vehicle." (normal one)
And you must not park in reserved areas, obstruct, must have WoF and Rego etc. If you don't
"If you contravene clauses 1 to 4(a) of the above conditions, you agree that we may apply a wheel clamp to your vehicle and/or remove your vehicle by having it towed at your risk and expense and we may hold the vehicle until all outstanding debt has been paid and in addition to or as an alternative to issuing a notice as set out in clause 4 above. If we apply a wheel clamp to your car, you agree that the wheel clamp will be removed only upon payment of a minimum of $80.00 release fee and payment of any outstanding debt."
So, if you are willing to pay and comply with the display ticket shit, then they have no legal grounds for clamping or towing, and are liable to have the shit sued out of them.
