    heh good point.

But do you reckon that if the guy at the insurance company had a really hot, high maintenance missus, with custom "assets" that he wouldnt take her to the bedroom and give her a good thrashing from time to time?

Why yes, I think Gareth should be doing that from time to time.
Don't worry, I shall draw this post to his attention and when he realises you are disapointed with his performance I am sure he will try harder.

Maybe they have read your signature and previous posts about how many tickets/suspension you have and thought 'whatever'

Sorry dude but I wouldn't touch ya with a 10 foot pole if I was in the insurance game. 3 suspensions in 3 years? Cmon.

For the record I was paying a shade over $1000 to fully insure my R1 when I was 21. I'm 27 now and its just over $600 a year for the Ducati.

    Nail. Head.

    You got it.
He was lucky to get a price at all.
I'd say his only other chance would be NAC, but the premium would still be moonbeams.

From my point of view, I'd pissed off if my insurer took this guy, because it would be my premiums fixing his bike. Anyone who's got a record like that (and is proud of it) is a claim in waiting.

o your so right im selling it coz the insurance cost is far too exesive to ride, so i lose my freedom of choice, i have raced and rode bikes for most of my life, im gettin old ( 50 ) and cant be botherd folding myself up to fit a racing bike anymore, so i ride a cruiser, a harley frame but not a harley motor (1633cc). single seat fully customised and show winner. i was happy with it, until the legal mafia ( insurance ) decided that i couldnt afford it and took my right away. i could go third party but its too much of a risk, so i will sell it and get a cruiser not botherd if its a jap or whatever as long as the cover is cheap and the bike gets me there and back, cant ask for much else.
ride for freedom, ride safe, ride for me, and all the other bikers no longer able to ride

    It's why I have a 400 man.

Even then, I'm luckily enough to have the parents paying for it currently.

Shit, that's not bad. Thought you had to be at least 30 to get a deal like that.

That's how much it costs to insure my old and torn 400. Sigh...

Get 3rd party minimun, A guy at work collected a wing mirror on an BMW X5 (or similar). the glass alone was $900, total cost around $4,000.
