Talking Small and quick trip To Huia Pt.2

Yep It's ok Mods, It's not a repost. Don't get mistaken with my last years thread lol

Well yep, it was a sunny morning. As soon as I woke up, I looked out the windown and voila! no cloud! YES! I knew what that meant!

Well, previously I didn't have a bike, hence my desire to go on a ride was like a candle burining on the both ends!

Oh wait, let me explain the bike first.

    The bike
The FXR is all fixed but still havn't picked up yet. But a good friend of mine was kind enough to let me borrow her bike! (A Hyosung GT250R in Mango Yellow)

    The ride
    OK Lets start the show!

Right, When I was getting the bike ready, I wanted to make the most out of the ride/ the Hyosung lol And soI thought, "Ah yeah! Today I'll attach my camera on to the bike!" So I put the camera into my bag.

Of I went on the NW Motorway...
    blah...
    blah...

And I reached this place just before getting onto the Huia Road.

While I was attaching the camera (with ductape and stuff, messy job), this blue Buell guy rode pass with a face like this -> as if saying "WTF?!?!" lol

Well yep, I took a video of the ride from start to the end of the Huia road

The road was good. Dry, smooth, no road works etc. I didn't push it too much, cause I surely didn't wanted to bin the bike!

When I reached Huia town, I quickly headed to the Huia dam. Cause thats where I enjoyed taking photos

Up up and up.... See?? No cloud!

On top of the dam. Its time to get snappy!

    To be continued....

    ... Continued

I was making the most out of the day lol Pushing bike onto the bridge (where theres a scary big big hole below) to take some shots

And yes... After visiting the dam, I went furthur to my favourite place called "Little Huia". I missed that place soooo much!

Last time when I went there, there were ducks. But today I found some sheeps. As you can see, they ran away up to the hills lol Bunch of pussies!

A couple more photos I totally love this place!

I honestly think this small ride is perfect for beginners/ learners who wants to go open road riding but never done it before. This road has a speed limit of 50kph to 80kph, so it is newbie friendly (I say). It's highly recommended. But there are some parts they need to watch out like moss in shady areas.

Well I might go again this Saturday (if the weather is fine), so if theres any learners out there want's to go on a small 40-ish km, 1-2 hour ride, just drop a PM I'm happy to take some photos too!

    Well, till then!

It's only 40km and you took 1 to 2 hours? How much time did you spend taking photos??

and yes, the roads are pretty good, not absolutely amazing and they are for legal speed riders due to all the holiday go'ers heading to Cornwallis Beach and the like, but still a great road to have a little blat on.

And Armour Bay has free Barbeques!
