Yossarian, I liked your last post very much. I hope you meant it, riding as you did is a fairly surefire way to come unstuck big time on a bike. I would suggest you look into taking, as a matter of some urgency a RRRS course.

Pushing from the back - it just doesn't work.
Like you and Maha, he needs to lead from the front (not from an arm chair).
He needs to demonstrate the strength of his convictions and show people he is serious.
He appears to have an idea, were he to formulate and plan and put it into action I am sure others would get on board and help him make it a reality.
It's his baby, HE needs to run with it and stop trying to beat others into submission.
BUT only if he genuinely wants to effect change.
Though I seriously doubt this is his goal.
