Huh, no one asked me. My bike is cheap as chips

    I like this quote however:

"Since 2001, the average age of motorcycle owners has increased from 40 to 47 years," Fox said. "This indicates that the current population of motorcycle buyers is aging, and a large proportion of these owners are likely to soon exit the market."

I wonder how they project these owners will "Leave" the market....

If the bike population is aging, do they think bikes will get really rare in a decade or two? So this is what being an endangered species feels like...

    Cheers.

I picked it up as I was making these widgets.
They seem like a good way to surf a lot of bike data easily.

The way some people drive you mean? :-)

I wonder if scooterists are counted in the stats though.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

2001 to 2008 = 7 years. 40 to 47 = 7 years. They asked the same bloke each time, second time he was seven years older. No shit, Sherlock.

At least 30% leave the market after popping a disk lifting their Harleys off the side stand, 20% pop a disk on their hyper sports bike trying to relive their youth.

Well, maybe, but surely not so young as 47 ? As by 'leave the market' they mean 'leave the market in 30 or 40 years time'
