    Y'need to set priorities, mon.

You've got ONE bike now, right

But you've got TWO kids. And TWO kidneys. Right

Sell one bike, now, and you;ve got NO bikes. Sell one kid, or one kidney, you've still got another one.

So, which is more dispensable? Stand to reason, dunnit.

Or even better, you could sell your KID'S kidneys.

Bugger to hear this Jamie, all the best to you both in any case.
You can always make up for it later with something truly wonderful! (like the 1098)

"If you can't laugh at yourself, you're just not paying attention!"
"There is no limit to dumb."

"Resolve to live with all your might while you do live, and as you shall wish you had done ten thousand years hence."

Tis a tough one Jamie. I really miss not having a bike now but keeping a roof over our heads and feeding the 3 kids became a priority. Even with selling the bike and my VR4 the overdraft is beginning to rise again - christ I don't do anything anymore - but this country is getting too expensive to live in. Missus can't get a job that is flexible enough to work around the kids and then the childcare fees wipe out any potential earnings anyway. If you can keep the Duc then do it coz my garage and life is very empty without a bike and now it's gone I can't see when I'll ever get one again.

Too late for that mate - the missus sold the GSX and today she killed the Duchess http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh....php?p=1711533
She's a bit battered and bruised but her pride is more damaged than anything else.

On the home front - have you considered a move to Invercargill? If you can sell your house in the current market (not easy I know) you will get another much nicer one for much less down here. If you get a chance to take a holiday you are more than welcome to come down and try it for a week chez McJim.
