I know he GOT it back Mate. In was asking:
Well done! HOW did you get it back?

eg, "well I was driving past a Mob house....etc etc"
"If you haven't grown up by the time you turn 50, you don't have to!"

You're a champion! Great memory and great spotting, but yes - I've got the bike back! Unfortunately, my company made me redundant and unless I get a sales job in the next few weeks, my visa requires that I leave the country. It's a shame since I'm only 2 months shy of residency.

Anyway - yes, I noticed the bike not far from my house, called the cops, and ended up getting it back. It's been fantastic for the last few months, but won't do me any good if I'm out of the country, so alas - it's for sale

I'm sure there are a dozen or so out there right now hunting for them.

Just finished installing brand new tires, chain, tinted windscreen, integrated signals/mirrors, and full aftermarket body work. Finally finished up the big project last night, and what do you know - I wake up this morning - GONE. Pricks...

Anyway - if you happen to see cheap parts for sale from a 2005 CBR 1000RR you might want to double check their source.

It's a pretty noticable bike (black with blue flames), but if you run accross a frame for sale VIN: JH2SC57U65M101329 or an engine for sale No. SC57E2126598 well - that would be mine...

Stolen from Saint Marys Bay/ Ponsonby area early am August 28th.

    Thanks
Holy shit john, this post almost gave me a heart attack when I saw the picture.

Owned the bike a week today and see a picture of my bike in a post like this

Ignition had the screwdriver down the throat treatment and a couple minor bits got ripped off. A few small scratches, but overall I'm stoked to have it back! Who knows if the cops will ever find the pricks, but with a bit of luck Karma will find them!

First thing I did was went out and bought a big chain and chained it to the light post. lol.

Thanks for looking out for it while it was gone - I hate theives!
My 10G evo3 got stolen a month after I bought it. paid all up 13G and got 5G from insurance.
