Stupid is as stupid does.
RIP common sense....
I like my woman like I like my bikes.... and my bikes a screamer![]()
Back in the day it was pretty much standard practice . You can see further at night, once your eyes adapt, without headlights.
Major downer is if you encounter someone with lights you lose your night vision for half an hour. But back then the back roads were pretty much deserted at night.

I just feel sorry for the families. At the end of the day its another biker who died.
RIP.![]()
If you are behind me
Dont ask as I am lost too.
stupid.....only people who are hurt are the family and unfortunately for them, it will haunt them for the rest of their lives.....gives young people and bikers a bad name

He paid the ultimate price for what we can all sit here and say is poor judgement. but who can honestly sit here, put your hand on your heart and say you havn't done somthing stupid and got away with it? I cant! just means we got away with it......that time at least.
Dont be too critical, next time you do somthing stupid it could be you were all talking about!
RIP rider, thoughts to families.
Have light should use. No light no see, no see.........crash for sure.
Theres a similar case within the surfing fraternity. Surfing by moonlight..... sounds great but in reality a different kettle of fish. I have done this twice in my 25 years of surfing and each time (although we had fun) some one got toasted. The second time in Indonesia we had the local cop row out to the reef in a dugout to stop us, saying...."Big shark like din-dins at nitetime", and "very bad if something happen" "you come in now". We all had tasted the coral by this time and cag'd a ride back to the beach with him.
Funny at the time.
But F__k that riding with no lights!
A nice Pit
just ride with night vision goggles.
Night vision googles? Like the military. Now, THAT would be COOL.
