Aren't the fins just of the vertical and very small persuasion? You can almost see them in pic #2. I think.

Fins are on the other side, with a combustion chamber so small (so the valve gear is out of proportion to a normal bike), there's no need to cool the camchain tunnel. Slightly different layout to the earlier OHV engines, but this OHC engine looks identical to the one in my Super Cub, apart from the electric start (wtf?! Even my sister can start these engines!)

I'm not sure if Honda is really involved in this, but they have had these sorts of strange partnerships, especially with small traditional bikes like the SS50 (which this looks surprisingly similar to the later ones, if you rip off all the strange adornments and paintjobs) and the C50, C90 et al -- in Malaysia they had a setup like this, producing bikes locally -- maybe still do.

It only talks about parts availability in terms of engine bits -- `Engine parts .....: All Honda Dealers.' Which sounds OK, as it sure as hell looks like a standard Honda horizontal single 50, and why would you mess with such a long-running successful (and cheap!) design?

    The gears have gone international.

    Getting 100km/h+ out of a 4-stroke 50cc ain't THAT easy without lots of $$$
(Unless you buy one of those sexy Dream 50R's )
