Clearer ... No not at all. I tried to imagine how I could have lost it on the left-hander. Not really much of a corner at all.
There were still some gouges on the road coming from the direction I was traveling. Deep ones where the bike must have hit hard, still lots of plastic in the ditch back up the road where the fairing must have exploded.
The souvenirs of interest was taken from the point of fire. A previous molten bit of frame & a piece of fairing with a precious 1/4 turn zeus fastener !

Best conclusion I can draw is rear tyre loss of adhesion to road from sudden loss of pressure by either blowout or rolled it on the rim due to lack of adequate pressure causing uncontrollable 2 wheel slide and subsequent dramatic high-side.

Too much time has passed to determine where the slide started. Unless there could be further evidence I suspect the cats-eye just happened to be in the way when the bike was sliding. Contact with a non-movable object like that could have contributed to the mayhem but I feel it is unlikely to have started it.

Wish now I had gone there sooner ... as in made a special trip as soon as I was able.
Emotions were heightened as I remembered the last few corners before my Sep 08 accident.
Not too much left, tho I did pick up a couple of souvenirs

Its good to go and face the realities of the road ... I found with the sites of accidents past that i have visited it removes the bogies from it and makes me face fear (not my accident scenes).
