    Little bikes

My Partner has been making noises about getting her 6L. Dropped a message into Qkchk to see if she has any free time to give her the run down (i'm just not sure that i'd make a good teacher at all!)

Anywho, have been perusing the marketplace for a suitable bike, and i'm not having much luck.

    The problem is her height. She's 5'0" (I'm 6'3" - go figure).

So far, I can only come up with the FXR150, Scorpio Z & GN250.

Is there anything glaringly obvious that i'm missing, or suggestions?

    Ta muchly.

Don't forget the Kawasaki EL250 Eliminator. A great ride for the smaller and not so small rider.

An option for a dual purpose bike would be a Kawasaki Super Sherpa.

    Otherwise, what they said

I found that my feet were flatter and I was a lot more comfortable on my cbr mc19 than my gf's fxr when she had one. Though I guess the fxr can't exactly squish your gf's balls as such can it... That's what really got me.

I'm 5'2" & it ain't all in my legs, have ducks disease (arse to close to the ground) I went with the VL250 as I was able to get both feet flat on the ground & found it easy to balance /move around even on hills ect.

Is a great bike & can do 115 comfortable on the open road

I had a look on another forum and someone recommends this

"I lowered a 2003 sv650 4" for my 5' 1", 100 lb. wife. She absolutely loves it. 3" came from changing the dog bone links and 1" out of the seat, (corbin). Total out of pocket cost: About $300. She also had a Volusia 800 that I lowered 2" with new dog bones."

may be worth the time for the bike.

I think a Honda Rebel would suit her fine if she's willing to ride cruisers..

I know i'm a wee bit of a tall cunt but my knees hit the handlebars.. designed for short fuckers.

    *Ahem* Buy my Rebel >.>

But cruisers in general are the way to go for shorter folk.. you can't really compare with your Hyo-bag. That things massive..

I'm wit Imbray on this one. I am 5ft 4in and can get both feet down flat and it is real easy to balance. A great first bike. Smooth, comfortable easy to ride etc. My only complaint is wind resistance which I guess is standard cruiser issue. So am going to get a screen for mine. Otherwise a great ride.
    Good luck.

I dunno about a little person's bike, but it's an impressive looking little bike.

Yeah, what Hitcher said. Mrs Oakie who is also 5 foot nothing had an Eliminator (until a couple of young dicks stole it) and it fitted her perfectly. She now has a CB250FM (a.k.a. 'Jade') which is also not a bad fit either.
