    But surely it's not the age of the rego, but the age of the design that defines an old dunger (aka 'a classic'). And a 1971 Meridan Tiger, is really just a 1930s Speedtwin with ideas beyond its station. Definately an old banger (aka classic).

    Yea... great idea...my old rice burner is 30 this year..
    Side cars are ok...,but not too sure how trikes can be classics...
    Well...most of them have got arse ends from a 70's HQ Holden so whatever..

    Sidecars are ok....because you can remove them and have a proper motorcycle.(Apart from racing ones i know...)
    Trikes are IMHO an abomination - neither car or motorcycle and akin to bestiality...

    Lol. By that measure I'm riding a short-stroke 1953 Norton Manx.

    Actually, while we have the correct sort of audience, what was the first 4-valve OHC single? Didn't take them until the XL250, did it? Did the Brits do one?

    Of course bloody yes.
