    welcome aboard johnny5.
good to have another biker getting in to it

sorry to hear of you problems, and i'm not knowledgable enough to answer your questions, but you'd probably get a better response/answers to your post, if you post it in the "bike mechanics" segment, under "engine-clutch-transmission"

    good luck mate.

    Hi Matey,

Do as Nap says and try the mechanics section. My bike did that a couple of times when I first bought it. It was new and it used to kick in and out of gear at will but it settled down once I had put some k's on the clock.

If in doubt, get a good garage to look it over but you will probably find that one of the fine KB'rs may have the answer to your problem.

    Take care mate, happy riding

    Hydraulic clutch ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    welcome Johnny5...
would drain and replace your motor oil, also make sure that its bike oil and not car oil too that you use..motor oil (MA)written on side of container..then it may require the clutch to be serviced and adjusted if it still not working correctly..you have not mentioned if your bike is brand new..or running with a few miles already on the clock..
