Would this stand up, say in court, if one of us on our 6L or R were to get done on a larger bike, or out of hours?

From memory, I could not remember signing for the conditions of my licence, only for saying the particulars on the application sheet were correct. I only recieved a leaflet saying what the conditions were after I sat and passed the test. Surely we would have a leg to stand on with this issue if we were to get caught?

Just something that crossed my mind while looking at my licence.

    Cheers.

That sounds like a great idea. Do it. Can I call you Forrest GUMP if I stop ya? (Stoopid is as Stoopid does?) I need the quota.....

My licence doesn't say I have to stick to 100kmph, not ride into oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the motorway... the list is endless...

when you sign ur liscence your signing for all the condiyions, not just the ones listed, its your job to know them, i agree with all the restrictions placed on l & R platers exept the 70km limit, i just ignore that 1 completely on the highway, been pulled up 1ce and i told the cop id rather pay the fine than be a menace on the road and get tale gated at 70, he let me go so they can probably see the stupidity themselves

If you get caught breaching the conditions of a licence then its a $400 fine and 25 demerits for each breach, so riding out of hours and on a bigger bike would be $800 and 50 demerits.
So no will not stand up in court, sorry to burst your bubble.

How the f**k did you get your license without realising the conditions are spelled out in the road code? Is it one of those Maori licenses au?

presented, second, and past. all dumb questions will now get you 25 demerits.

Sorry i know you were just testing us but come on. although in his defense writing that you need glasses to see on the back of a licence is pretty dumb also. would a g in a bottom cornor not point out to police that driver/rider must wear lenses?

I believe it would but i think it needs to be a bit more prominent than just a "g" in a corner somewhere. It is a serious issue if you cannot see well....
