    Short story

    The story goes...
On my way to work today, I call into a local takeaway to get my lunch and notice two bikes parked outside, all good so far, then walk into the food place and see the bikers, greet them in the normal fashion, and the male biker says ''nice shorts''!!

Yes I wear shorts to work and thank you for noticing
I told him I have a clothing Mentor....

Is this a weird thing for one male to say to another??
I was happy he didn't mention my legs..

I take it the bikes were Hondas ?

EDIT: Oh, of course *you* ride a Honda, don't you. Perfectly normal, then.

Possibly a back-handed way of pointing out the risk of wearing shorts while riding.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

More likely a back handed invitation to go riding without shorts.

Suppose it depends on what yer shorts look like (ie: if they are like stubbies from the 70's or like real bum hugger short shorts) or they may be style guru's and were just being sarcastic.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Now, I hate to be the one to point this out, but I think the point the guy was making was that your point would have been dangling below the shorts. Mom says that size matters, and in your case, that's the point.

I hope this pointed response helps you see that your title misses the point.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
