This is taken at Deals Gap. These guys are riding as fast as a GW can go based on bike lean, they are moving a bit on the bike side-to-side, but not a lot. As for truck driving, an LT will zap these guys based on bike lean as it has more clearance. One of the fastest bikes on Deals Gap though is (was) a GW, ridden by the guy that takes the videos. You pay him to follow you or lead you thru Deals Gap and he videos you. I have seen him leading a very crisply ridden motard thru the Gap....he is not just hanging off, he is literally out of the seat, crouched down beside the motor + the bike also has a fair bit of lean. There isn't much that can take him on the Gap. Generally though, you won't see GW's ridden faster than these two guys in the video.

Very impressive, but given that he hugged that centre line a fair bit to follow through his lines it's just as well there were no caravans or large trucks coming the other way....
Was all that scraping sound him? One way to make your profile slimmer hahaha. "Does my bum look fat in these turns?" "Not any more baby".

That was his bike telling him he has nothing left in reserve.

It was the camera bike, the rider was dragging his knee to keep up. Distinctive sound, he was wearing hard plastic sliders.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

If that's the case, I stand corrected.

Yep, impressive riding... BUT ^ What she said.

as for advance riding techniques Flip, well I don't really think so.
As Big Dave said, the C of G is quite low, and in reality any bike should be able to be flicked from side to side quickly.... Just many riders haven't worked how.

Well that reminds be, better be off to buy my new tyre for the Track day.....

Not bad for a young fellow. Another 10 years experience or so and he'll be pretty good at it.

with a couple of GW riders coming off while riding on straights last year, I hadn't figured they would actually go round corners - nice video though, maybe a free copy should come with every new GW (along with an invite to a trackday)

    Good video,
    Cheers Big Dave.

What was that music that biker Stig was listening too?
    Absolute Beginners By David Bowie?

I got distracted by the related vids.

Just watched him perform most of Ziggy Stardust over a 30? year range.

I was in first year high school when Space Oddity hit.
    Big influence on my tastes.

They are actually quite easy to chuck around. It's only moving them with feet down that mass become apparent
