Just for the record, I've done almost 1,000km in the Waikato this week.
No close calls, no bad drivers, no incidents, no police issues, people waved and the bikes all went great.
And I had a really nice time.
Sorry.

Was out at Te Akau way today, Kimmys on Thursday.
Been returning via 22 - or further west.

today it was close to optimum conditions
You should go out on a ride with "FatMax"
Toko Oko Rd - (or is it Tiko?) - Rangirirri out to 22 - is a Motu special at the moment - just been dressed and graded and has has an inch of ball bearings on top.
I even had the Buell slightly crossed up on exits.
FatMax....... he has some wild and wacky adventures everytime he saddles up. His posts are thoroughly entertaining to read.
