    Thanks for the heads up.

Not new new's in Wellys sorry mate. Happens at least once a year. Im thankful that I have undercover basement parking. Not that I let my warrant or rego lapse......

Surely it's not that hard just to keep you bike warranted.

Presumably January would be a very fruitful month to do this in. It's easy to see at a glance whether the sticker says "2008" or "2009" so all 2008s better look out!

Been told a time or two that I should clean my WOF tag, and not have it behind and under the L plate and plate plate
Which reminds me. 6 months is probably over now.

Even tho I've been guilty of this myself there is really no excuse for having an expired wof. You get 1 year wof's for the first 6 years too.

This may be my warped sense of humour or lack thereof, but what about displaying an out of date warrant (not yours and they won't check that closely because they're blinkered and only see dollar signs) then either appear in court with the genuine article or write to the Mayor (Mare) If it happens often enough the practice will cease quick smart.

The fine is for not displaying a current wof. The LTSA has guidelines on where that wof should be displayed. Even if you have one and it's in your jacket pocket then the fine still stands.

Here's a great solution.... have a current rego and wof on display like you are supposed to have....

Only if you are not carrying your rego plate around as well...
No "itentifying marks" on the bike could confuse a ticket dispenser.

What are the actual rules around rego's if you get a ticket. I've been told you have a month to get it done and you don't have to pay the ticket and all that sort of stuff. Does anyone actually know the real story?
