I'm considering a custom set up for the Striple (as well as various after-market options).
Firstly, am I better off to cough up the big dollars and stay with the Arrows/Mircons/Zards/Akrapovics etc? Or will I get a really good system manufactured locally?
I'm wondering about about issues like loss of power or decreased durability/longevity etc. Is it hit and miss with a one off NZ exhaust manufacturer? (who doesn't do extensive research and design testing)
Secondly, if I go the way of getting something manufactured locally - who would people recommend in the upper north island (preferably Auckland). I've had a couple of people suggest Custom Chambers in East Tamaki? Opinions please...

from what I see they all are basically the same length. They all run a perforated core of approximately the same diameter. The performance aspect is then done (core size and length). Noise is a result of packing and db killers and these vary. After that it's physical appeal and quality of build. The later varies considerably from the pieces of shite to works of engineering art.
I was hoping that a call at least would be worth your time
