    SH16 to Warkworth

Is anyone else in love with the connecting route from SH16 to warkworth? I found it cos i needed to head back home as i was heading north on SH16 and saw the big blue sign saying "Warkworth and Kaipara Flats This way" little did i know it would be just under 30kms of pure awesome corners haha

but in saying this it was intensly hot yesterday and there was soooo much tar on the ground and also a bit of stones, i did run across the centreline once (sorry saftery Nazi's) but im sure thast on a warm overcast day it would be so great.
So yea anyone else know and love this this road??

You obviously need to get out more. Watch out for cops, quite a few have ended up walking home on that road , mind you when you sit at the lookout just Sth of Wellsford & listen to some of the bikes wind up through the hills then flash past it is little wonder more don't end up walking or dead.

I've never seen a cop on that road either. Think they stick to HW16.

The second 25 km RH corner down the hill tends to suck people in too. don't forget the railway line does get used & there's no alarms!

It use to be a mint road. Now the cops are like a rash on that road.

No, it's crap now, they spoiled it when they sealed it. Used to be good, and then y' never saw a cop on it.

The next road across t' the norf is better.
