dosnt matter how much you say before you burn me! its gonna happen, guaranteed. thats what made the britten so cool, it had the ugliest colour scheme that looked like a liberachy/wacko jackson joint effort but the engineering on those machines just made you drool, I still go to the cafe at te papa just so i can sit there and ogle that bike, add to that that it could eat ducatis, diguest them and then crap them out as over priced paper weights and the britten has to feature in the top 5 of any cool list

VMax? Wonder what spooning this engine into that frame would do to mid-life crises.http://users.hunterlink.net.au/~ddped/rrv2.htm

Yeah, I heard about that one. Apparently he was floging out a gearbox every ride. Became a little impractical, even though Holden gearboxes are easy to find.

Mmmm Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 is one of the sweetest sounds in motoring. Heard some at various tractor pulls years ago. Every time they revved it up, the hairs on the back of my spine would all stand on end. At full noise it was sensory overload...
    Cheers,

You need to try the rolls griffon - 36l as opposed to the 27l of the Merlin. Even betterer There was a nice one in a MIX Spitty puring around the Wanaka air show till some "Wallice" dumped it on its lid (crank rotates the other direction to the Merlin so you need to correct the torque the otherway on takeoff - doh). Pitty

    Cheers R

I couldn't believe anyone could deal with all that power.

In perspective - it has very similar performance to a 990 Adventure.

The KTM 990/950 has similar HP and quarter mile times.

I assume you're referring to the SR.
    Why?
