    Fucking BP

Trust it to be these arse bandits causing trouble for bikers at the pumps.
I cant even pay for my gas here at the Whakatane one.
Thank god CALTEX is now accepting those vouchers you get at the supermarket. I'd rather sleep on a bed of nails than fill up any of my vehicles there.
And their pies are always friggin cold.

I rarely get off the bike when filling it, why should I, after all I don't have to get off to pay - normajeane (CB) does that job for me....

And I've never been told to get off by any pump-jockey yet.

Hmm, PB seems to be seeing a theme here of certain riders just having authority issues. Bloody hell people, get over yourselves.
The only issue I have with "service" stations is that they pretty much have no service any more that i can tell of. You do everything yourself so I find the title of "service station" laughable. But as for their rules of conduct on the forecourt and inside, c'mon they've not been designed to personally piss you off. Don't be so sensitive. In the words of Paul Henry "start a group".

Well this is a topic done to death on KB, the rules set by the Gas stations are get off your bike before filling up, they didnt make that rule just to piss bikers off they did it for safety reasons, this is good, thats the end of it, get over it and get used to it, as above pointed out "only get 150 kms out of a tank" then I advise you that you now only get 140 kms per tank and youre now safer when you fill up.

So, has anybody got the figures for "Filling-the-bike-while-sitting-on-it-and-dropped-it-and-burst-into-flames" incidents??

And how many gas-stations were burnt to the ground as a result?

I Dont, I wonder also how many stats relate to someone slipping on a forecourt due to spilt petrol or diesel, that would be a fun experience while suporting your bike on one foot while sitting on it and filling up.

Never heard of it either and it sure hasn't happened to me, but then I can put both feet on the ground whilst sitting on the bike.

Have heard of somebody walking around the bike with nozzle in hand and arsing-up, THAT made for a real hazard with a big squirt of fuel as they went down...

ive nearly arsed off while pulling up to a pump. put my foot down in some diesel, and it shot out. thankfully, i was still moving slowly, and shifted to a dry spot before my foot got too far away. ive also seen a local jerk on a moped being an idiot and revving while pulling the front up [yes, it looked as retarded as it sounds] and then when he went to take off, the back hit some diesel and damn near threw him off.
