Tank, mate, turn it down a notch. I think he gets your point.
I'm for anyone getting an education, regardless of what it is. I worked hard through uni, lived like a pauper, gave up life aside from working 3 jobs and studying. It's starting to pay back now. 7 years was an investment, and I'm glad I did it, just the unique opportunities alone.
He's getting his bike sorted, it's up to him to take the risk, he's a grown up.
Metalor, look up a mentor in your area, get some proper tuition from them - then sit your restricted with more skills and confidence. You need to lose the aggression, you can't ride angry. This bunch is a good bunch, but if you show them disrespect by waving your dick at them, they will hammer you in return.
Do it the correct way, show some respect, a lot of these guys have more skill and experience than you can comprehend right now, and to them, you look like someone who needs a hammering.
Its diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; its life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
What got people started wasn't really the fact you were riding a non-legal bike around, breaking the law and so. To be honest, if the KB kangaroo court had to have a collective seizure every fucking time one of our resident knuckle-draggers were in breach of statute this or legislation that we would be in an electronic epileptic fit 90% of the time.
Just don't bid for sympathy or look to blame anyone else when your shit catches up with you. That is all really.
At least you are doing a degree that might actually take you somewhere - and if it doesn't at least it is challenging.
And despite all the tough love being sent your way, I can only say I haven't met a single person on here who wasn't a good bastard in real life. Give it a week, roll with the blows, ...
Don't waste your breath mate, the university-of-life-brigade doesn't want to hear about that part of it. After all, to some people, anyone with a degree is an arrogant, good-for-nothing arse. That's not to say that they aren't correct sometimes...
Give it a rest mate, you would have ridden too 20 years ago. I mean - how hard can it be?![]()
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
Remember your humanity, and forget the rest. - Joseph Rotblat

Now here is what you should have got from all the shit throwing, we don't care to worry about you screwing up and being illegal, we care that it' seems to be someone else's fault!
That you think we're all old wrinklies! who just won't stop telling you off doesn't worry us in the slightest, that you are beginning to do things the right way and get things straight does .
So as the above words say, roll with the blows and come back in a week, lets see if you bothered to study for the test,LOl.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
sure there are guys that like to go on, you did open yourself up to a bollocking, but some people just need to have their say and move on.
For the record most of the guys ive ridden with from kb are actually good guys, its the ones that sit there whinging on posts about rides they never go on that are aholes
I would just like to say good luck with the WoF & restricted - the sooner you can stop living in fear of $800 fines the better. I hope you are able to find the money to pay for the rego as well. Also I wish you luck in avoiding the attention of the police for a few days while you get everything sorted and legal.

Get Bikes off the Road at All Costs!
hell no, don't stop, this shit is quiteall we need is a boxing ring and some alcohol
there'd be a few ginga's that would disagree with that statement
more of the point, do what you like, when you likejust don't expect to get away with it (on a forum, or in court) when you make your actions public - its just asking for a bitch whipping.
I know a few peeps that do what you have done/doing - difference between them and you is (besides their maturity level), they don't make their dirty laundry public nor cry like a little 4year old when/if caught.
Suck it up little dick
It is what it is
