Have been through the cave and it might be possible to get an old smoker through, but we would have to dismantle it and take it piece by piece in a few spots.

You've done a large chunk of this one before Tom and the rest of it was pretty well swept when I went through there recently.
On past performance, you will have no trouble at all.

Sounds like a pran. Now all we need is an old smoker, and we'll have the place fumigated and all those nasty creepy crawlies dead in a flash.

    There goes that idea!

Yet again, I am engaged in saving lives at sea rather than going biking so, sorry guys, but I can't make that weekend.

    Rats, bloody big ones too!

You must work some weird hours.
If you are keen for a weekday/daytime ride give me a shout.

Thats the problem with volunteer organisations (Coastguard), its on my time and its always the weekend!

A weekday ride sounds good, let me sort out work first (like actually get some) and maybe in the next week or two.

Excellent, I only need half an excuse to skive off work (the joys of being self employed)

You guys should should join the AKLADV social group I created for just these sort of rides.

Wot about next wednesday, the 6th?
Having actually looked at the map and realised how close it is (surely thats only 45mins from Tuakau via the gravel?) it looks like an easy morning or afternoon outing, I would prefer one end of the day rather than the middle.

Edit: looks like the 6th doesn't work, back to whatever plan A was then.
