I have to say dogs barking late at night are the worse, I can usually sleep through anything but not that!

The National Foundation for the Deaf commissioned a survey on what noises New Zealanders find most annoying and could be making them ill physically or mentally, in the lead up to the inaugural Noise Awareness Day, which is today.
No mention of motorbikes!!

The most annoying noises:
1 Boy racer exhausts
2 Barking dogs
3 Car alarms
4 Snoring
5 Neighbours' stereo noise
6 Neighbours' DIY noise
7 Neighbours' lawnmowers
8 Other people's mobile phones
9 Planes
10 Rubbish trucks
11 Babies crying
12 Body noises including coughing and humming

AND!!!!! Neighghbours kids yelling and squealing at 8am on the weekends.

sitting at the lights this morning with my ipod cranking out disturbed to get rid of the wind noise from my crap helmet, the bus in front of me managed to drown that out, didn't see buses on there either
