This is a piss take surely.
Please tell me, this is a piss take right?

Fark everyone on here must be riding gods and never made mistakes...

Only idiots dont learn from mistakes.

Lessons that you should have learned:

    1. Dont ever drink and ride.
    2. Watch your following distance
    3. Dont jam the brakes on full. Fast, smooth and progressive is the technique.

As for crashes? Be glad youre not injured! Ive lost count of my crashes, but i think its somewhere in the high 20's early 30's over 5 years lol...

No I dont believe it is a piss take. When you first start out 80kph is extremely fast, and you probably feel you are going to die with every bump in the road. Having said that though, there appears to be quite a few skills that need working on for this youngster.

And yes we both are glad it wasn't worse. None of you were there so cant really comment on what we did. We are both fairly new riders and handled the situation as well as we could.

The whole point of the KB Mentor system is that he knows who to contact without having to have explicit offers shoved in his face.

Edit: OK, maybe that's about half the point, with the rest being the inflation of various egos. But, y'know what I mean.

    2. not "remembering" drink/drive regulations whilst on an "L" plate ...

    3. not "remembering" previous demerit points still current on his licence ...

    4. not "remembering" that buying anything off 'skid can be dangerous... If he doesn't want it, why would anybody else.

    5. not "remembering" that going anywhere near 'Puke can be dangerous...

Did you learn to ride at some point in your life, or were you a born expert, riding our of your mum's vagina on a litre bike, high fiving the doctor on the way out the door?
Learner riders are just that. LEARNERS. cos they make fuckin stupid mistakes. we all did. I know I did . I thought this forum was here to talk shit and support fellow bikers. Sure he has some lessons to learn, and many on here have already told him what those lessons are. he has a broken bike, and a bruised ego, and by the time he is better he will (hopefully) be a smarted wiser more skillful rider.

He was being nice, saying how it all turned out for the best in the end, what's bad about that?
