this is a adventure.
not pushing some KLR/BMW with the kitchen sink on board.
lets see you tie your bike to a inner tube and swim downstream after it

Be a short adventure with only about 5 litres of fuel each. Support crew must be carrying all their gas, and bedding, and food, and, and, and.........
Part of the adventure is being self sufficient.
Nice scenery though.
Great to see those yamaha trickers in action- are the available here.
Wild bikes!
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......
intersting to see they dont have a skid plate, thought it would have been a must in them conditions
I FEEL THE NEED, THE NEED FOR SPEED

not having fuel is part of the adventure you pussies!
i would ride my trials bike 100k if i could!
Twas the only way to get across the Bloomfield river, (and others) heading up to Bamaga in far nth Qld in the 70's and early eighties.
Cept there were these pesky lil critters to deal with, think we called them swampy dogs. Better known as estuarine salt water crocodiles.
Cool bikes. I see there are 4 on trademe. I like the yellow one.
hmmm.....
I know guys
maybe we'll sell some of those crappy trials bike wannabe trickers if we throw a couple on a trailer and look for some cool places to shoot a few bits of film then we could string it all together and make it look the bikes are ridden the whole way - sorta like charlie and ewen in miniature.....
Trials versus ADV????? Apples & Oranges I would say. Trials riders can do awesome tricks on a bike BUT its just not the same sport as we're into is it. They can't do 1000km in 24hrs unaided and I can't bounce my DR vertical 5m and land balanced on a tree branch - and neither could they I'd bet! (I can bounce my DR 20m diagonally straight into a hillside tho - does that count?!!!!!)
Cheers, Dave

sure you dont cross any river near the coast, or goe near the sea cause if the crocs dont get you the bloody jellyfish kill you in under a minute, but anyone who has ever ridden the gillies or kuranda ranges or copperlode dam in 35c+ either falls in love with the place or is stupid
