WTF moment on the Friday night ride home

Well...I struck a (minor) blow for the brother(and sister)hood on my way home from work tonight against cocks in cars.

Anyone who knows Aucklands waterfront, knows that there are a lot of cars parked along it, and that each lane is not huge.

Got to near Mission Bay about 20 minutes ago, and as we're rounding a corner, some cock in his flash Harry BMW, who quite plainly has been given a licence to ignore the road rules by the police because he's so awesome, UNDERcuts me, and then has to cut me off so that he doesn't crash into the cars parked along the verge. This causes me to swerve masterfully and brake suddenly in order to continue to enjoy the ensuing weekend, rather than a hospital stay.

Crisis averted, I pull alongside said Cock to be greeted by a big grin. Cue red mist, I start yelling profanities, my visor is closed, his window is closed so no sound is exchanged, his grin suddenly drops and he does some weird getaway attempt type driving. I lane split to the front of the long queue and carry on my merry way.

Get home and wonder how scary I looked for him to look so frightened, pull aforementioned abusive face in the mirror......Daaaaaamn...I done got some farkin scary looking 'angry eyes'. Hopefully he'll think twice next time he sees an L plate. Just cos it's there, doesn't make us an easy target.

Anyone else have any potentially weekend ending rides home?

All good - just remember that he still had the laws of physcis on his side... and if he'd chosen to hurt you... it would have been bad.

    That said... fun innit?!?

Yeah, but he was in a BMW, which allows him to to whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Don't you know nothing

BTW, BMW stands for Break My Windows - maybe you should next time.

Yes indeed, I know that stretch of road very well, and the bell ends that cruise it, both male and female.

Once saw a boy racer nearly wipe a mum and young baby out once, typical of some of the 'we're too rich to care' type people that live there.

Onya for scaring the dude, sounds like he was a first class puddin' puller

Luckily he didn't see me cracking up as I rode away. Still can't get over the fact that he cracked a wide grin as I pulled up alongside. It clearly means he knew what a knob he'd been.

Ummm..nooooo. Apart from that being a pretty shitty thing to do regardless of what he did, about 100 people would see your licence plate, plus you'd have some angry dude in a beemer trying to run you down...

    Take the mirror!

"Somebody" in a shitty little honda civic decided it would be a good idea to see how close they can get to me at a red light they got a wee bit close and hit me lightly so when the light went green i waited for him to go past me i rode up next to the car and made a nice dint in the drivers door "Its not that easy to swing ur leg while rideing along"!

Yep, aint easy kickin in a door while riding and it it gets darn right dangerous over 70kmh.

Once saw a guy on a Harley get cut off on the motorway by Granny knitting. She never saw him. He comes up alongside and gives the driver door such a kick the whole thing folded in..... then I watched in awe as he wobbled all over the road trying to regain his balance

For a few seconds I didn't think he was going to get it all together and thankfully traffic was light enough for him to struggle with his machine over two lanes.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

The best thing to do if he's really pissed you off is to kick off his rear view mirror with intention to break it. and kick the shit out of his door with your titanium boots... One cager has experienced my mental side. Plan your escape route, don't take the motor way and don't have your number plate blatantly in view of the public. Most people are afraid of bikers if you are assertive due to the image the gangs have portrayed. Use it.
