ill ride anytime it aint too windy, or too rainy. But in preference spring and autumn, summer is good as well, but get a bit too hot evertime i stop, or go through a 50k zone.

    Softy

I miss Spring and Autumn, the dry season has arrived so the humidity has dropped and getting a nice breeze off the desert now.
Still every day of the year is over 30C.

Not exactly. I'm no kiwi so I don't know how's the weather and peoples reaction to it.

If I was to predict results, I'd use my own experience, so it would ve massive response in the late spring with some peak at early autumn. Summer won't be the highest (35~40ēC summers here, and riding areas well over 1000m high, so sun hits real hard).

last week i stopped at the summit on the takas for a smoke, I spent the next 15 minutes in the mist trying to do up my helmet with numb fingers, ill ride all year but my favorite roads are all wet and slippery already so the time I can have the most fun is definatly summer, hot dry sticky roads
