LOL Big Dog - I know EXACTLY what you mean. It hit me a couple of Thu nights ago on the ride...

I rode the first 1/2 crap... no tyle, no tempo, no timing... kicked off the 2nd half ... still the same till we hit a favourite stretch of the Coatseville R'head highway. I felt everything just click. Literally.

EVERYTHING came back in one hit as soon as I lined up the first corner. I went from riding a bike, pushing it around corners and working on it just to stay on the road, to being one with it.

Shame we stopped at the pub but I still smile when I remember that. It's hard to describe that moment when it all just "clicked" but it was as real as the feeling of stepping into a warm shower.

    Brilliant write up chap.

Hey man, my grammer and spelling have improved since I first joined the site.

But did a thread about riding really need to be hijacked into this?

Nice write up Big Dog, I know the feeling aswell and if I hadn't taken part of my engine appart and wasn't feeling crook I would be out there riding right now.

Fuck's sake. Talk about striking a fucking nerve! That's why I said "pet" peeve, it's something that I personally find irritating. Couldn't give a damn if you did it on purpose or not, it still looks sloppy. Didn't ask for anyone else's opinion on the matter, and I do recall saying sorry right before I said pet peeve. Keep my grammatical opinions to myself? Now who's telling who how to write?! And while we're being picky, there's a couple of letters you haven't capitalised up a couple.

No doubt you have your pet peeves as well, but you don't need to go off the deep end because I've voiced mine. Your original post was a bit of a nothing post - nothing there to indicate you'd studied linguistic anthropology, you'd have to agree.

Maybe there's too much picky picky on KB with spelling and grammar, but I don't see any of the others that point out such things (and there are many) getting flamed. So I'll stand my ground, thanks.

Ah, well, hmm, that's mostly because we're large and smelly, own lots of guns, and know where most of the other members live.

You, stuck all the way over there, are fair game, I'm afraid.

It just looks sloppy. Sorry, rant over, pet peeve.
Ah, so that's why you chose poultry over paltry, merely to inflate your character limit? That's just fowl.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

apologies to all about the vomit that sprung up as a result of deviant's pathetic judgement call - but i dont back down from young uneducated pricks who decide they're free to pass pointless judgement on whomever they choose and then get snotty because their target throws it back in their face

Mate - it's an internet forum. People do get to pass judgement on whatever they choose. I wasn't judging you, just disagreeing with your choice of text. Call it a pathetic judgement call if you want - like I said, many a KBer has nitpicked over spelling and grammar before. As for the personal attacks, they weren't necessary. Nowhere in my posts did I make personal attacks based purely on assumption, as you have just done. But as this thread has now turned into a seething mess (as a result of only my post? Can't argue on your own...), I'll refrain from further comment.
