I forgot to mention one more episode. The day we did the Arthurs / Lewis trip we stopped to fuel up at Greymouth. Pulled up to the pump and a middle aged gent in a car started chatting about his bike prowess. You know the sort?

Well, I filled the Zed up to the brim as you do when you don't know where the next servo is. If you over fill her it runs out the overflow tube by the swingarm.

Paid for gas, walked outside and there is Josh (my son) trying to re attach all these hoses on my bike. Seems the helpfull fello decided my bike had a real problem and instead of pointing it out to me he began pulling hoses off willy nilly. Lucky he was gone!

Very caring folks those West Coasters.

Don't you mean an "old" geaser, do you realise that you are middle aged yourself!

I had to point that out to my second son last Saturday, it was his 40th birthday, didn't realise he is "middle aged" now.

Average life span of the male human gender is "three score years and ten" that is seventy!

Anything over that are bonus years.

You are well over half way there, scary isn't it!

I have got just over 2yrs to go, like what happened? I have only just got past my 21st birthday!!

So much to do, so little time! Keep your eye on that clock. John.
