Well today was my last day at my present employment - had a contract for one year!! And they are not replacing me - already they are in the shit - being short staffed - hehehe

Anyway I was flat tack - get back from lunch - and they had cancelled my profile off the system completely!! Rang helpdesk and the silly tart says Oh I just deleted you = well considering I'm here until 7pm you had better "undelete me pronto" 4 hours later no can do!!! I did say maybe I should go now??!! No, eventually I signed on as someone else!!

My supervisor said they normally take 3 months to action a delete request!!

I start my new job tomorrow - have 2 days training out the Hutt so I can take my bike - yeeha!! I warned them. It was one of the first things the Chairman of the Board who interviewed me - brought up - now I hear you have a big bike!!

Another lawyer had recommended me to this guy and I had to laugh how he described me - "The Personality". However my Supervisor assured me I was not a loud mouth - but that you could often hear my laughter and also the fact I guess I very rarely wear dark colours (make my own clothes) and I'm known for my interesting "shoes/heels". Also it's a bonus I know how to do my job!!

Interesting tho - last year was the worst year of my life - and for the latter 3 months of the year nobody knew what I was going through, I had to be so disciplined and just focussed on work as they expect 110% then I'd go home and crash. Everything that could go wrong did - and with a vengeance - I look back and wonder how the hell I did it.

Anyway I am very excited about my new job - more money than I asked for - less hours than above job - and it happened very quickly and smoothly which is a first for me. So I am extremely grateful.

Also I am going away Thursday nite on my bike - and in my new job we have the Tuesday off as well - so I get to have a lovely long break.

My first day at work was awesome - I reckon I have found my niche at last!
My God there are some short men there - one poor guy literally stood back and craned his neck to look up at me - Geez I felt like an elephant!!

Ride out there was great - ride back - very wet and greasy - and no wet weather gear!!

And cos I was feelin so good - I walked into this really neat shop that had crystals, incense etc and body piercing!!! Cheap - So I got my belly button pierced! This time properly!!

As I'm typing my mad maori mate is playing the guitar and we are singing - even in harmony!! Today I bought him some new strings for the guitar so he had no excuses!! He's a beautiful singer - I cannot in any way, be classed as a singer!! I broached the idea of whether I could get my piano out of storage - but I have 3 flights of stairs!!! He has lifted that piano many times on his own!! Sorry I'm off the subject. Our little concert is over and he's gone home.
