Greek Island, right up next to Turkey (they had a big population swap back in the 60's I think)
Actually for a package holiday destination (whoop! whoop! pom alert!) it's pretty good, nice beaches, hills, ruins and a pretty extensive hippy/artist community. Best thing is the restaurants, they don't have menus, but take you into the kitchen and show you what's cooking....
